Oranfresh’s industry-acclaimed line of juicers was developed by Agroindustry Advanced Technology (A.A.T.), a leading European firm specializing in engineering and manufacturing of commercial large-scale agro-industrial equipment. AAT was founded in 1998 and has incorporated all agroindustrial activities of the former A.I.D. (Agriculture Industrial Development). A.I.D. was founded by Dr. Salvatore Torrisi on his return to Europe after completion of a two year post-doctoral program at the Citrus Research Center of the University of California at Riverside. Among Dr. Torrisi’s accomplishments are a revolutionary sprinkle and drip irrigation system (used extensively in the Middle East), antifrost wind machines with electronic control according to crop freezing point and worldwide consultation in the efficient use of high technology in agriculture.

Zumex: Was established in 1985 to market automatic juicers with a revolutionary juicing system, a new concept in the Hotel and Restaurant equipment.
Although this is the main activity of the company, the company has developed and launched other projects for the industrial production.
   In 1988, the first generation of Zumex juicers was introduced to the market. These juicers are the best exponent of our business activities. The innovative juicing system (extraction), pioneered by the Zumex in this business sector, alongside with the high quality of the machines and their components, their attractive design and the technical maintenance service to our clients have rightfully given us a worldwide prestige.
