This machine is designed to work as an independent citrus juice extractor that includes as automatic orange feeder with a collecting hopper, peel collection stand, and depending on the selection, different interchangeable juicing heads which (from 2 to 11).  This design converts the machine into a perfect tool for small scale citrus juice production (oranges, tangerines, limes) owing to its excellent juicing quality, easy operation and great robustness.

 1-    What production level is this machine recommended for? The Zumex 450 is designed for industrial level production.   The production capacity is between 360 L and 935 L / hour depending on the kit used.

          2-    What types and sizes of citrus fruit does the Zumex 450 juice? The Zumex 450 can juice all citrus fruit varieties, with the exception of lemons, that are between 60 and 100 mm in diameter (between size 2 and 11 for oranges).

    3-    Can it juice all of the sizes? The machine comes with a set of eight-cavity pressing units that allows it to juice oranges with diameters ranging from 78 to 85 mm.   For oranges with diameters from 60 to 75 mm we have nine-cavity pressing unit sets, and for oranges with diameters between 85 and 100 mm we offer seven-cavity pressing unit sets.

         4-    If I purchase a Zumex 450 with an eight-cavity pressing unit set and I later need one with seven or nine cavities, will I be able to install it? You may later buy a seven or nine-cavity pressing unit kit and depending on the orange size to be squeezed.  You can install it very easily.

   5-    Will my juice contain essential oil? The amount of essential oil in the juice is insignificant resulting in a  high quality juice that is completely free of seeds, provided that the proper size orange is used in accordance with the pressing unit that is installed.

         6-    What happens to the peels? The machine includes a stand at the base for collecting peels, seeds and excess thick pulp from the juicing process.

         7-    Is it difficult to operate? The machine is very easy to operate.  You only have to worry about feeding the oranges into the machine.

         8-    What type of maintenance is necessary? The machine has a very robust configuration for the work it performs, needing only very basic and simple maintenance to keep it in operation.

         9-    Is it difficult to install? This machine is delivered in three parts.  You only need to locate them in the place you have reserved fro them and make the electronic connection. However, upon your request we will install it for you.
