Combined History
The Manitowoc Company acquired Servend in 1997 and Multiplex in 2000 and
consolidated the two plants at the Servend plant in 2002, which offers 155,000
square feet of world class manufacturing and research facility area. We now have
the ability to team up with the leading ice cube machine manufacturer, Manitowoc
Ice, to offer our customers the best "package deal" in the industry.
Multiplex History
Multiplex is the world’s leading manufacturer of high capacity beverage
dispensing systems for soda and beer. Our customers today include the world’s
leading quick-serve restaurants, theaters, convenience stores, casual dining
restaurants, plus locations where beverage dispensing requirements cannot be met
by conventional dispensing equipment. Our equipment life span averages over 10
years, twice the industry average.
Servend History
Servend has been a leading manufacturer of ice and beverage systems equipment
for the foodservice industry for over 20 years.
Since the 1980's, Servend has grown from a small manufacturing facility
operating out of a garage, where three employees spent one day building a single
ice/beverage unit, to a 155,000 sq. ft. facility and has over 200 employees who
build products that are distributed through a worldwide network of distributors.
Servend has revolutionized the industry with innovations such as, the patented
"U-shape" bin liner and "paddle wheel", maximizing ice storage, ice delivery and
efficiency, and the rocking chute ice dispenser, helping to eliminate ice waste
and spillage.
In 1994, Servend acquired Flomatic International and added Flomatic beverage
valves and beverage towers to the product line. |
